Growing up in Belgium where he played multiple sports including soccer and tennis, Dr. Wim Devos heard his calling for a career in chiropractic care at the age of ten years. Following his dream, Dr. Devos came to Texas where he graduated in 1996 from the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas. After practicing in his native Belgium for more than two years, he returned to Texas and married Texas native Becca and had a son named Dylan. Dr. Devos joined Southlake Chiropractic in 2005.
Although he employs a wide variety of non-invasive chiropractic techniques to treat his patients, Dr. Devos relies upon Diversified, Thompson and Activator spinal manipulative therapies. His patients have found much relief from these approaches due to Dr. Devos’s commitment to treat both the structural and functional issues they face. Additionally, Dr. Devos believes in utilizing Trigger Point Therapy for the reduction of the muscle spasms often accompanying his patients’ symptoms.
Dr. Devos is a food aficionado who favors Belgian dishes, especially their famous chocolates! However, as a Texas implant, he has been delighted to add “Tex-Mex” to his list of favorite cuisine. He is fluent in three languages, enjoys all types of sports, fiction literature and always tries to catch a new documentary on the Discovery or Learning Channel.
